To date, Yōichi has made more than one hundred woodblock prints of flowers and (or) fruits. He chose to depict a wide range of species, many of which appear nowhere else in modern Japanese art. Ten examples of Yōichi’s flower/fruit art are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. In some pictures (e.g., 1-5) his flower/fruit subjects were drawn more accurately than in others (e.g., 6-10). In the latter pictures the boundary between individual flower petals was not shown.
